Description

Teachers discuss how ePortfolios have helped their school. They trialed the program with a 2nd year group before introducing it to two first year classes. Pupils use Mahara and post their work there throughout the year. Teacher can provide instant feedback and pupils can continuously update their work and see their progress. Teachers use it as a means of formative and continuous assessment. The pupils are enhancing their computer and academic skills. Teachers advice for others: Start slowly and have a plan.
