This short course aims to help teachers use digital technologies to enhance existing resources and create new resources using screen recording and other tools.
Participants will be introduced to ways in which instructional videos can be used to differentiate and personalise the learning experience and they will learn how to create a short instructional video for use with their class.
The course provides advice on specific tools and examples of how they can be used, as well as copyright considerations in relation to digital resources. This course is applicable to all learning scenarios and is particularly useful for blended learning or flipping the classroom.

On completion of the lesson above, participants will be required to create their own short instructional video, describing how they would use it with their own class.
Technical Requirements: A good broadband internet connection and a laptop, desktop pc or tablet (with the latest version of Chrome, Firefox or Safari installed).
A course certificate is provided upon completion of this course.
You may be able to consider this course for Croke Park hours, subject to school management approval, particularly in relation to up to ten ‘Croke Park’ hours that may be allowed for potential individual/small group use (Circular 0042/2016 Primary and Circular 045/2016 Post-primary).
