Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework based on a set of principles which aim to enhance the educational experience of all pupils by promoting flexible teaching, learning and assessment practices that cater for the diversity of learners in our classrooms. In this session, Leanne Lynch and David Brennan briefly explain the UDL framework, its core principles and guidelines. They move from theory to practice by exploring examples of how engagement, choice and inclusivity in the primary school classroom can be supported through the meaningful integration of digital technologies in lessons and thematic units of work mapped to the principles of the UDL framework.
