New Cyberbullying course – Post Primary
1st September 2022
A new online course on understanding, preventing and responding to cyberbullying in post primary schools is now available.
The course is a short, two hour course which will provide you with the knowledge, resources and confidence to teach about cyberbullying. You will also be better able to deal with cyberbullying incidents as they arise.
The target audience for this course includes all post primary teachers. Accordingly, it will enable you to identify opportunities to teach about cyberbullying across the curriculum as well as in whole-school community based initiatives.
Perhaps you a member of the school leadership team, pastoral care and wellbeing team, or a year head? If so, you will be particularly interested in the school’s role in creating an anti-cyberbullying culture. The course also covers the school’s role in promoting students’ wellbeing, including online wellbeing.
