This short course aims to help teachers use digital technologies to support the provision of assessment feedback to students.
Drawing on the NCCA guidelines and effective practice in assessment feedback, the course describes a number of digital tools and methods which can be used in this context.
The course explores different ways of providing assessment feedback to students, such as annotating images, text-based feedback (including voice to text) and audio feedback. It also provides short how-to videos demonstrating how to use these tools in practice.
This course is applicable to all learning scenarios and all class levels.

The course has five short sections and a discussion forum.
Technical Requirements: A good broadband internet connection and a laptop, desktop pc or tablet (with the latest version of Chrome, Firefox or Safari installed).
A course certificate is provided upon completion of this course.
You may be able to consider this course for Croke Park hours, subject to school management approval, particularly in relation to up to ten ‘Croke Park’ hours that may be allowed for potential individual/small group use (Circular 0042/2016 Primary and Circular 045/2016 Post-primary).
