A 6th class teacher outlines how a variety of devices are used for the teaching of Fractions. The IWB, tablet devices, hand-held video recorders and visualiser are all used at various stations. The use of ICT for self and peer assessment is clearly demonstrated.

Description

6th class pupils use the app Motion Maths on tablets when learning about Fractions. They use hand held cameras to record how they are solving problems. Videos can then be used as a means of peer and self assessment. Teacher explains how she always plans to use digital technology and that no one should be afraid to integrate it into the classroom.
