A 6th class teacher outlines how she uses Google Classroom for Visual Arts. She explains how pupils create a digital rubric that is followed by pupils creating in Art. Photos of the pupils’ work are saved to Google Drive to form an ePortfolio.
Description
Children in 5th class looked at procedural writing using ICT. The app Scratch was used to enhance the learning experience for children. The use of Scratch allowed for children to use higher order thinking skills by solving problems, thinking creatively; as well as using mathematical and English genre skills. Children were included in the assessment through questioning and individual self-assessment of the process on Scratch.
