Description
Two junior infant teachers discuss how they use ICT to teach in a GaelScoil. Teacher uses LeighLeat.com to teach phonics. The website has songs, games and actions associated with each letter. It is colourful, fun and engaging for the class. Lesson starts by using posters to introduce A. Pupils then move to the whiteboard where they learn the song, look at the images and play BINGO. The interactive whiteboard is used to play ‘odd one out’ with words beginning with A. The programme is used alongside Fónaic & Rann.
